Palestinian refugees in Lebanon are barred from more than 73 professions, and this problem dates back to the very beginning of the refugee situation, more than fifty years ago when Palestinians began to take refuge in Lebanese shelters. The government ignored all the journalistic declarations and speeches of many Lebanese politicians who called upon the government to help the Palestinian refugees.
